Our role and regulation
Merchant Loans is a trading name of Lenzie Consulting Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 08174104, registered office Lynch Farm, Kensworth, Dunstable, LU6 3QZ. Merchant Loans is an editorial and information site. Most products marketed as merchant loans are merchant cash advances, which are purchases of future card receivables rather than loans; provided to limited companies they are unregulated commercial agreements outside the Financial Conduct Authority's consumer credit perimeter, while agreements with sole traders and small partnerships can in some circumstances fall within the Consumer Credit Act. We are an introducer, not a lender, we may receive a fee if you take funding through a firm we refer you to, and we do not provide financial, legal or tax advice. Figures quoted are indicative and are not an offer of finance.
Companies we name
Where funders, brokers, card acquirers or payment providers are named, they are named to describe the market factually. We publish no rankings, we accept no payment to feature a provider, and naming a company is neither an endorsement of it nor a statement about its current criteria or pricing. Trade marks belong to their owners.
